For 30 years Solomon and his brother have been selling produce near the corner of 48th and Spruce streets in West Philadelphia.  Solomon is one of the Unsung Heroes of West Philadelphia. He provides low-priced fresh fruit and vegetables every day, no matter the weather, from his truck, which is within walking distance for many people who live far from a supermarket.  David walks to Solomon’s truck and gets fresh produce every day.
