Why So Many Cancers? (May 2021)

In 2009, I had my first cancer.  This painting shows me and seven other patients getting chemotherapy together.  We supported each other during this fearful time.  That is why we are connected by a heart.

I have since had two other kinds of cancer, and always ask questions about environmental causes.  Everyone I know has either had cancer or knows many others who have had cancer.  Unbridled corporate capitalism and profiteering have poisoned our workplaces, our homes, and our communities.  My painting here is aimed at promoting our collective effort to end this violence against all peoples.
